A special concert to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. The program will be broadcast on VTV1 channel, and will be streaming online on digital platforms in November 2021.

On the 15th of September, the Performing Arts Department (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) officially informed of "National solo and ensemble competition for Vietnamese music instruments - 2020", after the delay because of the influence of Covid -19 epidemic. 

In the evening of May 17, 2020 at the Hanoi Opera House, a special art program Dang Nguoi tieng hat mua xuan [The Singing of Spring for Unclo Ho] took place. The program was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Central Propaganda and training commission on the occasion of the 130th birthday’s anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 and May 19, 2020) and was live broadcasted on VTV1 Viet Nam Television

Baroque music was composed and developed in Western Europe between 1600 and 1750, with the works of famous artists such as J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, A. Vivaldi and G.P. Telemann. In the evening of April 3, 2021, at the concert hall of the Viet Nam National Academy of Music, a concert "Baroque Masterpieces" took place. The concert was performed by soloists such as pianist Dao Trong Tuyen, violinists Nguyen Cong Thang and Nguyen My Huong, bassoonist Nguyen Duy Long, flute player Nguyen Ly Huong, cellist Nguyen Hong Anh together with the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra under the conducting of artist Nguyen Phu Son

  

In the evening of June 19, 2020, at the Viet Nam National Academy of Music, a concert We return took place. This event marked the return of artists on stage after such a long period of COVID-19 hiatus. The program was derived from the ideas of ​​four artists namely conductor Honna Tetsuji, artist Nguyen Tri Dung - Director of Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra, Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy - Deputy Director of Viet Nam National Academy of Music and Meritorious Artist Tran Ly Ly - Director of Viet Nam National Opera and Ballet Theater. Attending the concert, there were General To Lam - Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh - Director of Department of Performing Arts, ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic missions, journalists and crowded audience of academic classical music lovers

Polish and Vietnamese artists will perform together during Polish Music Days in Hà Nội on November 24, 28 and 30 to celebrate the 100 years since Poland’s Independence Day. Pianists Joanna Marcinkowska and Nguyễn Việt Trung, accompanied by Hà Nội Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform “Piano Concerto No 1 Op 11 E minor” and “Piano Concerto No 2” by Frederic Chopin during the concert on November 24.
