At the Geidai Arts Summit 2012 in Tokyo, Japan The "Geidai Arts Summit 2012 - From Asia to the World - the Development and Cooperation" was successfully held in Tokyo from 9 to 12 October 2012 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the establishment of Tokyo University of the Arts. The 23 art institutes from 8 countries and area: Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan participated this symposium to consider how to cooperate among art universities from Asia to the world and create new Asian art.
Associate Professor. Dr. Le Van Toan, rector of Vietnam National Academy of Music had been invited to participate and give speech “ Cooperation, cultural exchanges, way into future of Vietnam”. As a result of this international conference, all representatives agreed to the Manifesto of Geidai Arts Summit 2012 and signed their names on it.
