In the framework of the cooperation tetween the Embassy of the Republic of Chile and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Chilean duo arrived in Hanoi on 20 and 21 October 2012. Members of the group are the two famous artists Vivianna Guzman (flute) and Mahani Teave (piano).
During their artistic life the two artists have repeatedly been honored and received awards at the national and international music competitions. They performed in hundreds of countries around the world, recording for a variety of well-known labels. Not only chamber music performers, artists are invited to perform solo with the symphony orchestras of Chile and internationally.
Coming to Vietnam this time, the artists have devoted an unique concert with the musical works of international composers Bach, Liszt, Poulence, Piazzola, Vivaldi, Chopin and some of their own compositions. Hanoi audience was very interested in music and admired the collection of flutes introduced by artist Vivianna Guzzman.
On 21st October the Duo visited Vietnam National Academy of Music to conduct the master class in Winds and Percussion Faculty where the artist made the exchange of experience with the lecturers and listened and give advice on the playing of wind students.
