Three Vietnamese artists will perform a free concert at the Ha Noi Goethe Institute on Friday.

They include violinist Nguyen My Huong, cellist Nguyen Hong Anh and pianist Tran Thai Linh, all former Viet Nam National Academy of Music students.

At present, Huong works as a lecturer at the Academy while playing in the Ha Noi Philharmonic Orchestra.

Anh teaches at the Ha Noi College of Arts and is a first cellist in the Ha Noi Philharmonic Orchestra.

Linh, who won the second prize at the sixth International Piano ASKM Gold Coast competition, is doing his MA at the academy.

The concert, set to include works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Shostakovich, will take place at 8pm 17 June, at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ha Noi.
