Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and Graduation Celebration in 2020
On the morning of the 18th of November 2020, the Viet Nam National Academy of Music held “Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and Graduation Certificate Distribution to all levels” at the grand concert hall of the Academy. Participating in the ceremony included Assoc.Prof. Dr. Ta Quang Dong, Member of Party Civil Affairs Committee, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Representatives of arts schools, theaters, arts groups, teachers and students of the Academy.
The ceremony took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere. Following the welcome performance was the celebration part. In his welcome speech, Assoc. Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Rector of the Academy expressed his deep gratitude to the building efforts of the previous generations and expressed his belief to the efforts of the current generations of teachers and students in helping the Viet Nam National Academy of Music keep traditional identity and direct to the integration of professional music education and training of advanced countries in the region and in the world.
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Quang Dong - on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered a speech to congratulate the collective of leaders, staffs, lecturers and students of the Academy. Simultaneously, he also gave deep guidance on the direction and missions of the Academy in the coming time.
The ceremony continued with the statement of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Toan, former rector of the Academy. From this, the following generations could approach the tradition of “When you drink water, remember its source” and received passion fire in the arduous but extremely noble work of cultivating people.
To express the gratitude to the Viet Nam National Academy of Music and the merits of the teachers, the representative of students of the Academy expressed his feeling and promised to try to study and practice to become artists and useful people in the future.
The final program was the graduation ceremony to offer certificates to sixteen university graduated students, twenty-one Master’s degree students and five doctorates. Receiving the certificates on the occasion of Vietnamese teachers’ day is an honor and a recognition of the efforts in learning of students and also an honor for the collective of leaders, staffs and lecturers of the Academy. ■
