Training Program on Instrumental music education
Cooperation with BarratDue Institute of Music
In the framework of Transposition-Norway
Based on the practical requirement of Vietnam National Academy of Music to build up the subject of instrumental music education, from 2007 up to now a special program has been designed for instrumental teachers of VNAM. During three years, a group of six key teachers majored on piano, winds, strings, voice and accordion have been coached by Norwegian experts leaded by Prof. Grete helle Rasmussen – Dean of music education of BarratDue institute of Music.
This year, five teachers have been sent to Norway to do the final review on fundamental practical teaching and attend the graduated examination held on Aug 22nd 2012. All of them have excellently passed the examination with the A grade. In November 15th , 2012 the Director of BarratDue Institute has handed over the diplomas to the above teachers. The event created a good premise for the opening of music education subject at the Academy in the coming year in order to further improve the quality of professional music training in the country.
